Hurley Asphalt paver laying fresh asphalt at sunrise
A family trade since 1976

Some companies pave roads.
We've been paving the same one for fifty years.

John R. Hurley founded Hurley Asphalt in 1976 on a simple promise: do the work right, don't ask for money up front, and let the driveway speak for itself. Three generations later, we're still a family-run shop on Judge Orr Road in Peyton — paving for hospitals, towns, custom-home builders, and the homeowners next door.

"More than reasonable estimate to do my driveway. No money up front, just payment on completion. I liked that. They came out immediately and spent the first day prepping everything. The grade was a bit tricky, but they got it right. Day two, they paved and were done in several hours. Looks terrific. And they cleaned everything up as well. Highly recommend them."

    Site Prep

Day one is grading, sub-base prep, and edge work. The grade is where every long-lasting driveway starts — we don't shortcut it.

  3. 03

    Pour & Compact

Hot mix laid, rolled, and compacted to spec. Most residential pours finish in a few hours on day two with a clean site at the end.

  4. 04

    Walk & Pay

We walk the finished work with you. If it's right — and it will be — that's when payment is due. That's been our model since 1976.
